Advocacy WA Roadshow Bridgetown

This is more than a workshop. It is a day designed to give people practical tools, stronger confidence, and meaningful connection.

If you are a person with disability, a family member, a supporter, a provider, or someone who believes our communities should be inclusive and accessible, this day is for you.

You will leave with a clearer understanding of your rights, what good support should look like, and how to speak up if something does not feel right. You will gain straightforward information about the Disability Support Pension, practical self advocacy strategies you can use immediately, and a deeper understanding of how services are meant to respect and respond to you.

You will also meet other people in Collie who care about building a stronger, more inclusive community. Through D Connect Local and the Community Mentor Program, you will learn how people with disability and community members are working together to help make the South West the most inclusive and accessible region in Australia, and how you can contribute to that progress.

Morning tea and a light lunch are provided.

The environment is welcoming and accessible.

You are welcome to attend one session or stay for the entire day.

If you want clear information, practical skills, and a community that values your voice, this is a day worth attending.

Because knowing your rights creates change.

And when people come together with purpose, communities grow stronger.
